Homecoming Farm, located on the grounds of the Motherhouse in Amityville, understands that the human and natural world is one. Welcoming people of all faiths, Homecoming proclaims that when we care for the Earth, we care for ourselves, each other, and future generations.
Homecoming Farm, founded by Sister Jeanne Clark, OP (pictured left), is one of the earliest certified organic farms on Long Island.
Their workshops offered both off-site and on-site at the organic Sophia Garden, enable members and visitors to grow food for themselves and for those in need through their partnership with The Interfaith Nutrition Network (The INN).
Celebrating the roots of the Sisters of St. Dominic on Long Island, Homecoming is more than an organization, more than a place, it is a Way of Life.
