2023 Event Emcee: Jackie Lukas
Jackie Lukas is an anchor and reporter for Catholic Faith Network (CFN). With nearly 20 years in the television business, Jackie previously working for News12 Networks at News12 Long Island, Westchester and Hudson Valley. She is blessed to continue her journey telling stories and connecting with others through CFN, all while deepening her faith. Jackie is a 2023 Gabriel Award Finalist, has been nominated multiple times for an Emmy Award, and a winner of the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award. She’s also won multiple awards throughout her career including the Associated Press Award, Deadline Club Award, New York Press Club Award and numerous Press Club of Long Island Awards. She’s been nominated multiple times for Best of Long Island TV Personality. A native Long Islander, Jackie’s number one and most fulfilling job is being mom to her three beautiful children – Joseph, Aubrey, and Lukas.
2023 Keynote Speaker: Sister Jeanne Clark, OP
Sister Jeanne is the founder of Homecoming Farm, a community supported agricultural project or (CSA) which helps humans to heal through the nurturance of soil and seed and producing vegetables without the use of chemicals. Homecoming also offers programs for children and adults in understanding themselves as part of Earth and as intricately connected to the land they call home. Sister Jeanne has been a teacher for over fifty years, has been a campus minister, a pastoral associate in parishes and a long-time activist in both anti-nuclear, anti-war and environmental causes. She attributes her coming home to the land to the Salvadoran people whom she accompanied to El Salvador during the war there in the 1980’s. In 2005 Sister Jeanne was awarded the Peacemaker of the Year award by Pax Christi Long Island.
